Suffering From Heel Pain?

HEEL PAIN

Patients most commonly experience pain in their heel in two places: On the bottom (Plantar Fasciitis) and in the back (Achilles Tendonitis). Typically this sharp pain is experienced the worst first thing in the morning and slowly improves with stretching and walking.

HEEL PAIN: PLANTAR FASCIITIS

Pain on the bottom of your heel experienced when you first step out of bed is the classic sign of Plantar Fasciitis (inflammation of the Plantar Fascia). In some individuals, these spurs can weaken the attachment of the Achilles tendon, causing micro tears, inflammation, and pain. In extreme cases, the tendon’s attachment to the back of the heel can be so disrupted that the tendon can pull off of the bone completely. READ MORE
